Overview
Applications are invited for a Biomedical Scientist post based in the South Laboratory, Victoria Hospital. This new facility is equipped with Sysmex haematology platforms, Grifols Blood Transfusion analysers, Roche pre‑analytics, tracked analyser platforms and multiple POCT devices.
Responsibilities
Supervise and organise the department’s specimen reception.
Work an average of 36 hours per week, including day and weekend shifts where suitable.
Demonstrate leadership, team spirit, initiative, flexibility and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
* Experience in laboratory supervision and specimen management.
* Ability to work flexible shifts and lead a team.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
