Lift Repair Manager

Salary: Up to £50,000
A growing, well-established UK engineering business with a strong reputation for quality and safety is looking for an experienced Repair Manager to support its continued success. This is a key leadership role with real influence and long-term career potential.
As Repair Manager, you will take full ownership of repair activity across the lift engineering division. You will ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard, while keeping customers informed and confident. The role combines hands-on technical knowledge with strong people leadership and planning skills.
Key responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate repair works from quotation through to completion
* Lead, motivate and support a team of repair engineers
* Ensure all work meets safety standards, regulations and company procedures
* Carry out site assessments and provide accurate repair recommendations
* Work closely with planning and scheduling teams to allocate labour and resources
* Maintain clear, professional communication with customers throughout each job
* Monitor budgets, timelines and quality of work
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce downtime
What were looking for
* Proven experience in lift engineering, ideally within repairs or major works
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent problem-solving ability and technical knowledge of lift systems
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and reports
* Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects
* Full UK driving licence
