Healthcare Assistant (HCA) Arabic-Speaking
Location: London, W1G
Contract Type: Temporary/Flexible
Salary: £17-£20ph PAYE/Umbrella welcome.
Job Summary
We are currently seeking a compassionate and professional Arabic-speaking Health Care Assistant HCA to join a leading healthcare provider. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about patient care and able to provide high-quality support to international patients throughout their healthcare journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide face-to-face support to patients requiring ad-hoc assistance, including chasing reports, logs, and resolving general queries
* Orientate patients within the clinic, explaining procedures and processes clearly
* Offer language support to facilitate effective communication between patients and healthcare professionals
* Manage and resolve patient concerns or complaints, escalating where appropriate
* Assist patients and their families with local information and liaise with concierge services when required
* Work closely with International Patient Coordinators to communicate patient requests and additional treatment authorisations
* Act as a consistent point of contact for patients and their families, both in person and via telephone
* Conduct meet and greet for new patients, including registration for outpatient appointments and admissions, ensuring all contact details are accurate
* Carry out daily inpatient visits (ward rounds) to international patients, addressing queries and documenting interactions within medical records
* Requirements
* Fluent in Arabic and English (essential)
* Previous experience in a healthcare, customer service, or patient-facing role
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
* Organised with strong attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
