We are looking for a technician who is adaptable, a team player and eager to learn.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

* Efficiently conduct corrective and preventative maintenance activities originating from Work Orders

* Ensure that preventative maintenance schedules are completed on time
* Ensure all documentation of maintenance activities is to GxP standards (training will be given) and that accurate reports are generated
* Proactively identify maintenance plan improvements or omissions, working with the Engineering Supervisor to ensure maintenance PM plans remain relevant, are technically correct and compliant
* Work on small projects where required, including design / installation & commissioning or minor systems (new or alterations)
* Constantly seek new, innovative and cost‑advantageous methods of completing the work without compromising safety or quality
* Ensure a sufficient stock of materials, equipment and parts are maintained to carry out requisite work
* Ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards of safety and be proactive in addressing potential hazards and risks and reporting such issues to management for prompt action

Requirements

* An NVQ level 3 or City & Guilds equivalent in electrical or mechanical engineering or experience gained in a similar role (training available)
* Experience working in a regulated industry with an understanding of GxP standards would be advantageous although training will be given as required
* Broad based knowledge and interest in mechanical, systems and maintenance
* Safety conscious and aware of key HSE legislation
* Ability to adapt to change and be flexible when such situations arise
* Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team
* An ability to identify opportunities for improvement with a natural problem‑solving mindset
