Logistics Controller £35,000 plus Benefits The Logistics Controller ensures the efficient movement of raw materials, components, and finished products throughout the global supply chain. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and customer operations by coordinating shipments, optimising logistics processes and costs and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The Logistics Controller duties will be: * Manage inbound and outbound movement of raw materials and finished goods. * Co-ordinate daily, bi-weekly or weekly shipments to customers in line with customer and production schedules. * Monitor work-in-progress (WIP) i.e. status of product, finished goods between sites, out for delivery and ensure proof of delivery received. * Assist with product packing and labelling. * Plan and schedule domestic and international shipments. In line with customers terms. Ensure correct weights and dimensions. * Prepare shipping documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.
