Job Title: Kitchen Supervisor
To oversee all operational aspects of the Kitchen and staff in the absence of the Head Chef.
To ensure all kitchen staff prepare and present quality food, with all final products meeting Company Standards.
To ensure compliance with correct food and hygiene standards among all kitchen staff.
To lead by example, maintaining a presentable kitchen environment.
To adopt a 'hands-on' management approach and lead by example.
To participate in recruitment processes, including interviews and trials for potential Second Chefs, Trainee Chefs, and Kitchen Porters.
To communicate regularly with the Head Chef regarding stock levels.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving stock and equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
