Senior Quantity Surveyor £24m Distribution Centre, Norwich Location: Flexible, to be discussed with candidateContract Type: Full-time, permanentIndustry: Construction / Industrial & Built EnvironmentSalary: £75,000 £85,000 + excellent benefits package We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team for a £24m distribution centre project in Norwich. You will take a key role in managing the commercial aspects of this high-profile, complex construction project, working alongside a Tier One contractor and multiple stakeholders. Our client is a construction delivery partner working directly with major developers, occupiers, retailers, and logistics businesses. They specialise in delivering projects from concept to completion, including new-builds, fit-outs, expansions, renovations, and reconfigurations, primarily in industrial, logistics, life sciences, pharmaceuticals, data centres, and ports, with occasional exposure to commercial, retail, hotel, and education projects. Key Responsibilities
* Lead commercial management from pre-construction to final account
* Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations, and payments
* Prepare cost projections for labour, plant, materials, and resources
* Conduct TRM meetings and coordinate with operations teams
* Deliver forecasts and reports alongside the Estimating and QS teams
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and capture design variations
* Mentor and support junior QS personnel
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelors Degree, HND, or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or related field
* Strong commercial and technical knowledge in industrial / commercial construction
* Proven experience delivering projects of similar scale and complexity
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work independently and prioritise workload effectively
