University Hospitals of North Midlands is currently unable to provide sponsorship for this role. This is in accordance with UKVI guidelines and legislation, as these roles do not meet the skill nor salary threshold for sponsorship. If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply; however, UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa. You must also have at least six months remaining before your visa expires at the start of employment for training and operational reasons.

The role involves working alongside the Safeguarding Team (Lead for Vulnerable People) and HR teams to provide administrative support for the sexual safety at work agenda and managing allegations against persons in a position of trust. The team handles highly confidential and complex information, adhering to GDPR legislation.

You will provide direct administrative and confidential support to the Lead for Vulnerable People, responsible for managing allegations against persons in a position of trust, and support the Sexual Safety Liaison Officer, working with HR teams. Your responsibilities include liaising with stakeholders, processing legal paperwork, organizing electronic diaries, meeting administration and minute-taking, typing correspondence, maintaining accurate records on Excel databases, and digital filing.

* Provide full administrative support to the Lead for Vulnerable People.
* Assist in compiling reports for the management team related to business performance and activity data.
* Support departmental administrative processes, including legal documentation processing and liaison with HR and care groups.
* Triage incoming correspondence, respond to queries within limitations, and escalate as needed.
* Act as the first point of contact for telephone inquiries, signposting to policies, intranet, and available services regarding sexual safety at work and managing allegations.
* Maintain detailed, accurate records of reported concerns for escalation and action by the Lead for Vulnerable People and Sexual Safety Liaison Officer.
