This is a great opportunity for someone who understands how to grow and manage engineering accounts while working closely with both technical and commercial colleagues to deliver real value.\n\nPackage Details: \n\n2 days hybrid per week (Thursday & Friday)\nCompetitive base salary (negotiable DOE) + uncapped commission\nEquity options\n25 days holiday + bank holidays\nFlexible benefits platform\nHealthcare reimbursement via MediCash\nPension scheme (3% employer contribution)\n£2/day car parking support\nCycle to Work scheme\nRegular socials\nResponsibilities:\n\nManage and grow a base of engineering and manufacturing clients\nOwn the full sales cycle — from winning new business to ensuring successful delivery\nHit monthly and quarterly revenue targets\nSpot upsell and cross-sell opportunities across your accounts\nAct as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring strong communication and customer service\nCollaborate with Project Engineers and ops teams to keep orders moving smoothly\nUse CRM tools effectively to track activity and maintain data accuracy\nDevelop tailored strategies to grow each account\nCarry out site visits when needed to strengthen relationships\nRequirements \n\nMust-Haves:\n\nProven sales experience managing and growing account-based revenue\nBasic engineering knowledge – able to understand manufacturing processes, customer drawings, and technical terminology.\nComfortable communicating with engineers and translating customer needs into deliverable solutions\nManchester-based and able to commute to the office several days a week\nIdeally, You’ll Also Have:\n\nAn interest in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or 3D modelling\nPrevious experience working in a start-up or fast-growth business\nStrong IT skills, including confidence using CRMs (e.g., Salesforce)\nExperience winning new business from cold – while the role is account-focused, the ability to spot and open new opportunities is a real advantage.\n\n To apply, please send a copy of your CV and a covering letter to (url removed) or, alternatively, submit your application via the link below.\n\nJasmine Williams – Commercial Manager\n\nAt Aspion, our core values have been built around the importance of transparency, innovation, passion and collaboration.
