Were recruiting a talented and experienced Head Chefto lead the kitchen at our well-established 40-cover restaurantand 25-bedroom hotel. With a thriving wedding and function trade, this is an exciting opportunity to take creative control of a diverse and busy food operation.
The Role:
As Head Chef, youll be responsible for the day-to-day running of the kitchen across the restaurant, hotel dining, and all private functions and weddings. Youll have full menu autonomy, manage a skilled brigade, and ensure consistently high standards of food and service.
What Youll Be Doing:
Leading and developing the kitchen team, ensuring strong communication and a positive working environment
Creating seasonal menus for la carte dining, events, and weddings
Managing stock control, ordering, and kitchen budgets
Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP compliant)
Working closely with the Events and FOH teams to deliver seamless service for functions
Recruiting and training kitchen staff as needed
Ensuring profitability through effective cost control and waste reduction
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous in a similar multi-outlet venue
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Creative flair with a passion for fresh, seasonal food
Experience delivering high-quality food at volume, particularly for weddings and events
Sound understanding of food margins, kitchen GP targets, and health & safety compliance
