Responsibilities
* Manage the development of Hyndburn’s Local Plan, ensuring high quality and sustainable development across the Borough.
* Support growth and investment strategy, including two strategic employment sites and a garden village at Huncoat.
* Engage effectively within the Council, residents, applicants and elected members.
* Deliver a sound local plan supported by necessary evidence.
Qualifications
* Member of the RTPI with excellent knowledge and experience of planning and development control.
* Highly motivated, qualified and experienced planner.
* Computer literate, able to manage people and budgets.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
