Accountant – Practice Salary: £38,000k - £45,000k bonus (Dependent on Experience) Location: Tees Valley / Stockton / Darlington Full time permanent Accountant, qualified / sector experience / degree Our client is a leading Northeast Accountancy Firm and this is an excellent opportunity to join in a new Accountant appointment. Working and supporting a close-knit team you will be overseeing a diverse portfolio of SME clients providing tailored business advice and accounting solutions * Preparing accounts, year-end accounts for SME’s, sole traders, and partnerships. * Directly dealing with clients and delivering excellent service * Preparation of corporation tax * Finalisation of the accounts following client meetings * Acting as a point of contact for clients for ad hoc queries * Preparation of management accounts and VAT returns * Supervise, train and mentor more junior members of staff * Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for your clients, building and maintaining strong relationships while identifying opportunities to deliver additional services. * Project Management: * Ensure that all client deliverables are met within deadlines, and manage projects related to financial reporting, statutory accounts, and year-end compliance. * Manage your own firm portfolio of clients. Qualifications, we are ideally looking for:- * ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent degree / sector exparince) with in a practice environment. * Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, delivering high-quality services on time and within budget. * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. * A proactive and commercial mindset, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and add value to your clients
