Opportunity for a MEICA Supervisor to join a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy with offices throughout the world. Due to on-going success and contract awards they have a requirement for an MEICA Site Supervisor to join their Water / Wastewater team for a project in the greater Belfast area.
As MEICA Site Supervisor you will act as the client representative on upgrade, installation and commissioning projects in the Greater Belfast area. Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:
1. Supervise the installation and commissioning of M&E services in compliance with the requirements of NIW.
2. To ensure that the construction works adhere to the requirement of the contracts with the Client.
3. Lead the M&E site staff in the day-to-day supervision works.
4. Prepare monthly work progress reports, quarterly performance reports and other reports or information relevant to the project.
To be considered for the role you will have the following experience:
5. Extensive satisfactory post graduate experience in on-site supervision, contract administration and project management of M&E engineering works.
6. A Degree in Engineering or equivalent professional qualification in Engineering such as Mechanical Engineering.
7. Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records.
8. Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
9. Experience of water / wastewater projects to include treatment works, pumping stations etc.
You will also have excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to act within a team at all times. With the nature of the role you will be traveling throughout Wicklow.
