PURCHASE LEDGER CLERK– ROTHERWAS, HEREFORD If you are looking for a new challenge with a global market leader which designs and manufactures aerospace search and rescue equipment, HR Smith Group of Companies is the one for you. We are a family run business with over 5 decades of experience and are dedicated to finding the perfect solutions for our customers. Currently we are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to provide support to the Accounts Department. Role Responsibilities: •Processing purchase invoices against orders. •Matching purchase invoices to receipts from goods inwards. •Inputting invoices onto monthly daybooks in excel. •Assisting and managing bi-weekly payment runs. •Producing and sending remittances. •Entering transactions onto ledger spreadsheets. •Dealing with supplier queries and resolving issues over the telephone or email. Requirements: •Previous Bookkeeping experience is preferrable but not essential, as training can be provided. •Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel is essential, and the ability to work accurately and methodically. •High level of discretion and confidentiality. •Ability to work with complete accuracy.
