We are looking for a Mechanic to join our team at CHC Helicopter. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, the Mechanic will be part of our professional maintenance team responsible for delivering our fleet of helicopters to the flight line to help our customers achieve their goals.
The key responsibilities of a Mechanic include:
1. Perform routine and unscheduled maintenance on our S92 and EC175 helicopter fleet as part of the Aberdeen engineering team.
2. Accurately document maintenance activities within the scope of their approval.
3. Ensure all documentation used during maintenance is up-to-date and of the correct revision.
4. Remain current with all amendments to company procedures, manuals, and relevant technical data.
5. Control and properly maintain all tools used during maintenance.
6. Keep work areas clean and organized.
7. Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies at all times.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience with rotary wing aircraft, preferably within the oil and gas environment, though other relevant experience will be considered.
2. Knowledge of MSDS and COSHH requirements.
3. Computer literacy; experience with AMOS MRO software is preferred but not essential.
4. Good verbal and written communication skills.
5. The ability to work effectively within a high-performing team.
Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK. They will also be required to pass psychometric evaluations, a UK security background check, and a Disclosure Scotland check to obtain an airport security pass.
