Our client, a highly successful online fashion brand, is looking to recruit an experienced Import Merchandiser to join their team. The role involves managing the importation of stock, coordinating with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining quality standards. Candidates should have experience working as an Import Merchandiser for an online fashion brand or suppliers, with skills in critical path management, liaising with overseas suppliers, Excel, and stock allocation.
Duties:
* Coordinate with overseas suppliers to place orders and track shipments
* Organise and maintain import documentation
* Supervise the import process from order placement to delivery
* Conduct administrative tasks related to imports
* Provide leadership in managing import operations
* Ensure quality control standards are met throughout the import process
* Manage the online weekly trade, reporting on highlights, lowlights, stock levels, and monitoring replenishment and carryover
* Monitor and update the company critical path daily
* Manage stock intakes into the online warehouse, working closely with the warehouse team to ensure correct setup on Shopify with accurate prices and descriptions
Experience:
* Proven experience in import merchandising or related field within online/fashion industry
* Strong organisational and administrative skills
* Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
* Experience working with JD & Footasylum wholesale accounts from sell-in to delivery
* Manage wholesale order books and provide weekly ETA updates
* Understand the JD & Footasylum booking process to meet delivery deadlines
