A successful organisation within the construction sector is recruiting an experienced purchase ledger for a 6-9 month maternity-cover placement, from June 2024.
Your new role
Your duties will include:
1. Processing invoices using Sage200 software
2. Checking invoice statements and chasing missed invoices
3. General accounting and other ad hoc duties as necessary
4. Preparing payment runs
5. Liaison with external suppliers, internal procurement, and teams on site
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role,the following is required:
6. 2+ years experience working within a similar function
7. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Sage200 (desirable)
8. Great attention to detail
9. AAT qualified and/or experience working in the construction industry on project-based accounting is desirable, but not essential
