The Central Processing Unit (CPU) for Civil Parking Enforcement in Sutton-in-Ashfield is one of the largest Local Authority back offices in the country and undertakes Penalty Charge Notice (PCN) processing on behalf of 21 partner authorities in the East Midlands.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a lively and dedicated team responsible for administrative tasks related to the processing of approximately 120,000 Penalty Charge Notices per year and over 20,000 permits. Responsibilities include administration of Penalty Charge Notices, payment collection, and handling associated legal documentation.
You should be able to work under pressure to tight statutory deadlines, be enthusiastic and flexible, and possess excellent customer care skills, especially when dealing with often emotive and difficult members of the public. You will work as part of an enthusiastic team handling specific administrative areas but will ultimately have the flexibility to work across the CPU as a Notice Processing Assistant. Full training on all relevant aspects of Civil Enforcement will be provided. For more background information, please refer to the web page address provided.
