Overview
Security Officer position at Diageo, Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn. This is a frontline role requiring high standards of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain safety and security across the site. If you hold a valid SIA licence and have gatehouse experience, we’d like to hear from you.
Location: Diageo, Whitehouse Industrial Estate, Runcorn
Working Hours: 56 hours per week (3 days, 3 nights, 3 off – includes weekends and bank holidays)
Hourly Rate: £13.10
Contract Type: Permanent
Responsibilities
As a Security Officer at Sodexo, your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing gatehouse duties and site access control
* Conducting regular site patrols and reporting incidents
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety procedures
* Monitoring CCTV and other security systems
* Working closely with site personnel to ensure a safe and secure environment
The Ideal Candidate
You will have
* A valid SIA licence (essential)
* Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
* Experience in gatehouse duties (essential)
* Strong observational and communication skills
* The ability to remain calm under pressure
* A minimum age of 21 (due to insurance requirements)
