Your Role as a Science Teacher: Plan and deliver engaging, accessible Science lessons across KS3 and KS4, adapting content to meet student needs. Differentiate teaching strategies to support students with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and other additional needs. Foster a positive and structured classroom environment that encourages learning and resilience. Work closely with pastoral teams, SENCOs, and support staff to provide a holistic educational experience. Build strong relationships with students, helping to boost confidence and motivation in science. Assess and track student progress, implementing strategies to ensure continual development. Encourage students to explore practical, hands-on science activities to enhance engagement and understanding. Who We’re Looking For: ✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. ✅ Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4, ideally in an alternative provision, PRU, or SEN setting. ✅ A patient, compassionate, and adaptable approach to working with students facing challenges. ✅ Strong knowledge of differentiation techniques and behaviour management strategies. ✅ Excellent communication and teamwork skills. ✅ An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
