Job Description: You will collaborate with a team of creative and skilled design engineers to develop high-quality surface geometry models that support the aerodynamic development of our race car. We encourage innovation and idea-sharing to foster a successful environment.
Responsibilities:
* Create high-quality surface geometry models for CFD, wind tunnel testing, and full-size car release.
* Work closely with aerodynamicists to understand surface definitions and scope, including modeling approaches.
* Coordinate with model designers to ensure efficient implementation of aerodynamic projects.
* Assist with releasing aero surface geometry to the full-size car design team.
* Collaborate with full-size car designers to develop surface geometry for full-scale release.
* Support standard design practices and procedures.
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Design, Motorsport, or a related field.
* Relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within motorsport.
* Proficiency in 3D CAD software (preferably 3DExperience or CATIA).
* Strong understanding of surface quality, model layout, and robustness.
* Knowledge of surfacing and parametric modeling techniques.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to perform duties accurately and efficiently.
* Proficiency in MS Office applications.
