Job Summary: An exciting opportunity to join the NHS Humber Health Partnership, a large acute and community provider in the NHS, formed by Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust (NLaG). The Group has a budget of over £1.3 billion and serves over 1.5 million people. We seek to appoint Bank Sonographers to provide patient-focused services as part of the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. This is a chance to contribute to the future of our expanding ultrasound service and to work in purpose-built units with dedicated GE ultrasound machines across Obstetric, General, and Community Diagnostic Centres, providing scans to obstetrics, abdominal, gynecology, small parts, musculoskeletal and vascular services across hospital sites and community settings.
Band 7 Bank position, part-time, working pattern to be discussed. Pay: £47,810 to £54,710 per year pro rata. Location: Scartho Road, Grimsby/Scunthorpe and Trustwide.
Responsibilities
 * All Advanced Practitioner Sonographers will scan independently and report all studies undertaken. Support from the Radiologist team is available for more complex cases.
 * Perform ultrasound examinations across abdominal, gynecology, obstetrics, small parts and DVTs. A musculoskeletal qualification or additional vascular qualification would be an advantage.
Qualifications
 * Ultrasound qualified (Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or Pg Diploma in Medical Ultrasound) with state registration.
 * Full UK driving license.
 * At least 1 year of ultrasound practical experience in an established NHS Ultrasound department.
Desirable
 * Qualification in Musculoskeletal ultrasound.
