You’ll support the Home Manager with a full range of reception, administrative, and basic finance activities to ensure the Home runs smoothly. Often the first point of contact for enquiries, you’ll demonstrate a professional and welcoming manner to all those who visit, live, and work in our homes. You will be responsible for ensuring that all visitors follow the infection control rules in force at any given time, and will take the lead on coordinating testing requirements, organising couriers, and handling associated administrative tasks.
Our homes are fun, so you’ll also assist with planning and managing events within the home, including celebrating residents’ milestone birthdays, fetes, employee presentations, or other activities planned by our Activities Coordinator.
Joining us means becoming part of our extended family. You’ll work alongside passionate team members dedicated to providing a safe environment filled with warmth and kindness for all residents and staff.

We offer a competitive salary, training, and development opportunities, along with measures to ensure colleague safety, including PPE and daily testing.
Additional benefits include:
* 28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)
* Higher pay rates at weekends
* Free DBS check
* Access to our Employee Assistance Programme
* Refer a Friend scheme with rewards for successful referrals
* Blue Light Card and “My Rewards” discounts on shopping, dining, and entertainment
ABOUT YOU
You have previous experience in administrative or reception roles and are confident using Microsoft Office. Experience handling cash and maintaining reports is essential. Ideally, you will have your Maths and English GCSEs. Most importantly, you should be comfortable in an elderly care setting, able to relate to residents with care and sensitivity.
This role is busy and varied, requiring efficiency, organisation, and initiative to complete tasks promptly. As the first point of contact for visitors, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
