Commercial Valuation Surveyor / Senior Valuer (MRICS)
Berkshire | Hybrid Working
We’re working with a well-established Chartered Surveying firm based in Berkshire, founded over 100 years ago, with an exceptional reputation and one of the lowest staff turnover rates in the region.
Due to a long-standing team member retiring in March, the firm is now looking to appoint a Commercial Valuation Surveyor / Senior Valuer to join the business from their head office, operating on a hybrid basis (office, site and client-facing).
The Role
This is a busy, varied valuation role within a highly respected chartered practice. You’ll be responsible for delivering commercial valuations for a wide range of clients, with a strong focus on work originating from high-street banks and challenger banks.
A full driving licence is a MUST.
Typical instructions will include:
* Loan security valuations for banks and financial institutions
* Commercial and mixed-use assets
* Investment, development and owner-occupied property
* Supporting lenders with clear, compliant and commercially sound valuation advice
* As a valuer within a chartered firm, you’ll play a key role in risk assessment, lending decisions and credit processes, producing reports that meet RICS Red Book standards and supporting informed financial decision-making.About You
o MRICS qualified (minimum 2 years post-qualification)
o Background in commercial valuation (not residential-only)
o Experience within the private sector
o Comfortable managing a busy workload and rolling your sleeves up
o A practical, can-do attitude with strong attention to detail
o Confident dealing with banks, solicitors and professional clients
