Stellantis Overview
Stellantis has a rich portfolio of iconic automotive brands including Peugeot, Citroen, DS Automobiles, Vauxhall, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Fiat, Jeep, and Abarth. This role is based at the Vauxhall Motors Manufacturing Plant in Luton, UK. The plant has nearly 1,500 employees building a light commercial vehicle under various brand badges.
It is a fast-paced, high-volume site operating across 3 shifts and producing 2,500 vans a week. The Process, Quality, and Engineering department at the plant oversee controlling the process to ensure the quality of the final product meets expectations. Key responsibilities include:
1. SPC Monitoring and control
2. Quality improvement
3. Robot optimization
4. 3D onsite (CAD)
5. COSHH assessment
6. Lab testing on materials and panels
7. Health & Safety management
8. Understanding of Stellantis Production Way (SPW)
Skills required for this role include understanding materials and processes, project planning, effective communication, technical ability, self-motivation, and strong data analysis skills. Preferred areas of study include Engineering – Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Environmental.
