Job Title: Health & Safety Administrator - HC622716

Location: CS Netley - Hybrid

Salary: Scale 3, £25,242.00 - £ £26,703.00 per annum

Hours: Full time, 37 hours per week

Contract: Permanent

Closing Date: Sunday 18th January 2025 at 23:59 hours

Are you experienced in administration and looking for a new, interesting challenge?

You will deliver a vast range of support services to the Health and Safety Department and your contribute will be pivotal for the Department.

Key Accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

You will be responsible for managing the Health and Safety mailboxes, being able to reply in a timely manner to queries or allocating work to the correct person within the team.

You will have to administer a variety of filing, record keeping systems, policies, procedure and documents as required.

Your support will cover general administration, but also you will maintain diaries, book meeting rooms and take minutes.all to grant an efficient work in the Department.

You will have to be a confident and accurate user of IT systems used by H&S, it will be importan to maintain office spreadsheets, databases and filing systems and entering data as required.

In this role you will assist with the creation, monitoring and maintenance of the accident management systems, action requests enquiries and updates from users and rectifying any access queries.

You will also be responsible for coordinating data collection for accident reporting for presentations and dashboards.

Essential Qualifications:

Educated to Level 2 (3-5 passes including English and Maths) OR work experience deemed to have brought the role holder to a comparable level.

Good knowledge of IT systems and Windows software.

Additional Requirements:

The role holder may be required to visit other locations within Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, and therefore needs to have the ability to travel as
necessary.

Essential Experience:

Experience of working in a busy office or role requiring significant use of computer software and programmes.

Evidence of analytical and investigative work or evidence of the ability to do so.


To be computer literate and a competent keyboard user.


Proficient in a variety of Microsoft suite of products.
