Management Accountant | £40,000 | Hybrid (Milton Keynes – 2 Days Per Week) Atlas Workplace Services is looking for a Management Accountant to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering financial reporting and insight to support our business goals. About the Role As Management Accountant, you’ll work as part of the management accounts team to provide accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and analysis to the senior management team. You’ll support the wider finance function, ensuring robust processes and continuous improvement across our reporting activities. Key Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts within ten working days of month-end. Report and forecast financial performance in line with month-end timetables. Attend and contribute to monthly contract P&L meetings with Operations and Commercial teams. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets. Complete VAT returns and maintain data integrity for ad hoc reporting. Reconcile and maintain balance sheet reconciliation worksheets. Maintain accuracy of accruals and prepayments data. Liaise with management to improve reporting systems and internal processes. Support the team with additional ad hoc duties as required. About You Minimum Qualifications, Certifications and Training required Institute of Management Accountants ( CIMA ) or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants ( ACCA ) accreditation Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience for this role Demonstrate competence in variance analysis, forecasting and budgeting, month end accounting procedures and statutory accounts preparation Ability to communicate with both senior management and operational staff Willingness to recommend, accept and encourage change within the organisation Ability to clearly explain the financial impact of financial transactions to non-financial staff Ability to critically assess the effectiveness of reporting systems and make recommendations for improvements About The Company At Atlas Workplace Services, we believe great buildings start with great people.
