Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Chef to join our culinary team. As a Chef de partie you will play a vital role in the kitchen, assisting in food production and ensuring that our high standards of hospitality are met. Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Support senior chefs in food production tasks, including chopping, mixing, and plating dishes.
* Help supervise junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
* Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a kitchen environment or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; a passion for cooking is key.
* Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
* Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from others.
* full training will be given and the opportunity to go college 1 day a week
