Relationship Manager
Location: City of London and Remote
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive, relationship-driven professional to join a respected organisation within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding CISI’s reach, developing and maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting membership growth across the UK and internationally.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Generation & Membership Growth
* Proactively identify and engage potential members and corporate partners within the financial sector through targeted outreach, networking, and strategic campaigns.
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, converting leads into active members.
* Collaborate with Marketing and Events teams to design initiatives that attract new audiences and promote CISI’s value proposition.
* Client Relationship Management
* Liaise with existing key member firms to provide updates on new developments and deliver tailored presentations that reinforce CISI’s offerings.
* Deepen relationships and drive membership expansion within existing firms.
* Monitor and review client engagement, producing reports with key metrics and insights to inform strategy and highlight growth opportunities.
* Internal Collaboration & Intelligence Gathering
* Work closely with the Customer Support Centre and account managers to gather up-to-date account intelligence, including product usage, client feedback, and emerging needs.
* Share insights across teams to support cross-functional initiatives and ensure client satisfaction.
* Broader CRM Support
* Contribute to the wider Client Relationship Management function, including supporting regional committees, forums, and related initiatives.
Required Skills and Experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Client Relationship Management role.
* At least 1 year’s experience within the financial services sector (professionally or academically).
* Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for liaising with external stakeholders and networking at events.
* Confident presentation skills – experience delivering presentations to university students is desirable.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and database systems.
* High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
