We've got an exciting opportunity for a part-qualified accountant or a graduate looking to start a career in finance and wanting to complete a professional accounting qualification. Our Finance Analysts work across both the Business Partnering Team, collaborating with Retail, Commercial, Supply Chain, Customer, and IT teams to support decision-making, as well as with our Financial Planning and Analysis team responsible for internal financial reporting, financial planning, and sustainability reporting.
You will look to grow and develop into a Finance career with Greggs, fostering a spirit of continuous improvement while pursuing professional qualifications. You will gain knowledge and experience across the Finance function, providing a solid platform to build a successful career.

About the role
This is a full-time role with flexible working considered. The base location is Greggs House, Newcastle upon Tyne, ideally within an hour's travel.
Your responsibilities will include data analysis and financial reporting across various finance teams, with opportunities to develop skills in different areas after initial placement:
* Retail: performance and profitability
* Supply Chain: manufacturing and distribution sites
* Commercial: product/category margins, franchise/wholesale
* Marketing & IT: campaign effectiveness and emerging tech
* FP&A: internal reporting, sustainability, and financial planning
* Accounting: monthly support
You should be a part-qualified accountant or graduate eager to start a finance career and complete a professional qualification. You should be analytical, numerate, detail-oriented, IT-literate (advanced Excel, knowledge of SAP and BI software is advantageous), able to work under deadlines, self-motivated, organized, communicative, and commercially aware.
