Student Liaison Officer\n\nLocation: Wembley, Brent\nHours: 7:45am - 4:30 / 4:45pm, Monday to Friday\nStart Date: Immediate\nContract: Ongoing\n\nAre you passionate about education, community engagement, and making a difference in young people's lives?\n\nAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join a vibrant and forward-thinking secondary school in Wembley, Brent, as a Student Liaison Officer. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with young people, thrives in a busy environment, and is eager to play a pivotal part in shaping students' futures.\n\nThe Role:\n\nAs the Student Liaison Officer, you will be the face of the school to KS2 students, local primary schools, and the wider community. You'll work closely with the Admissions Team to ensure a smooth and welcoming transition for new students, and lead on impactful outreach activities to promote the school and its values.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nRepresent the school at open evenings, school events, and community engagements.\n\nSupport the planning and delivery of student induction programmes.\n\nBuild strong links with local primary schools to organise collaborative events and workshops (e.g., STEM clubs, Mastery Maths).\n\nDeliver engaging talks, presentations, and in-school activities to prospective students and parents.\n\nSupport the Year 6 to Year 7 transition process, including meetings and school visits.\n\nAssist with admin tasks, including data entry, prospectus design, and resource creation.\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\n\nA proactive and organised individual\n\nA degree qualification\nExperience working with young people or within an educational setting (desirable)\n\nExperience working in events / admissons (desirable)\n\nA genuine passion for education and community outreach\n\nAvailable to start immediately\n\nAs a Student Liaison Officer for Tradewind, we can offer you:\n\nSupport for your professional development - Tradewind Recruitment are excited to announce that we are now partnered with the National College, meaning that you have access to exceptional learning opportunities at your leisure.
