Your Role:
*
You will be working with stakeholders to define project scope, funding routes and design strategies across lifecycle programmes.
*
You will be managing design consultants, contractors and Contractor Design Portion elements from selection through delivery.
*
You will be providing ongoing technical and design support from early RIBA stages through construction and handover.
*
You will be ensuring all designs meet required standards, regulations, specifications and include appropriate risk assessments.
*
You will be coordinating procurement approaches, documentation, design deliverables and progress reporting.
*
You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure maintainable, sustainable and compliant project outcomes.
What We're Looking For:
*
Qualifications: You will have a recognised qualification in Building, Engineering or Architecture, supported by strong design management experience on complex multi-funded projects.
*
Experience: You will have current working knowledge of building regulations, fire standards, sustainability improvements and defence-related design requirements, with exposure to PFI, PPP and two-stage tendering.
*
Skills: You will have excellent communication and IT skills, strong organisational abilities, the capacity to influence and guide others, and a flexible, pragmatic approach within changing environments.
