Job Overview
NWSSP Pharmacy Division is recruiting for the position of Head of Quality. The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive GMP knowledge and experience gained through quality assurance roles.
You will be managerially accountable for staff, service, and resources related to quality assurance for the existing production unit, ensuring compliance with GMP, GCP, GDP, Health and Safety at Work, COSHH, The Human Medicines Regulations, and other statutory requirements, delivering a high-quality, patient-focused service.
Additionally, you will play a key role in developing a new radiopharmacy service at IP5, including applying for MHRA licensing and preparing the unit for operation.
Main Duties
* Hold licenses such as Manufacturer’s License (Specials), MIA IMP, WDA, and Controlled Drugs License governed by MHRA and Home Office.
* Maintain contact with MHRA inspectors, implement CAPA in response to inspections.
* Contribute to the development and licensing of a new radiopharmacy unit.
Qualifications and Experience

Skills and Desirable Attributes
* Strong project management and organizational skills.
* Welsh language skills are desirable.
