About the role
We have a new opportunity for a Principal or Associate Electrical Engineer in Glasgow.
Our Glasgow office, established in 6, provides local project support and houses key sector expertise for projects across the UK.
We seek candidates with experience in commercial, residential, and mission-critical projects. We are large enough for stability and opportunity, yet small enough to recognize individual contributions. We are committed to creating high-performing buildings that address climate change and meet modern living needs.
As a Principal or Associate Engineer, you will support and deliver electrical design for various projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality service, client satisfaction, and business growth.
You can expect to:
* Lead the technical delivery of electrical design services across multiple sectors.
* Develop initial project concepts ensuring compliance and suitability.
* Engage with stakeholders, attend meetings, and communicate project briefs.
* Assist in monitoring project budgets, resources, and deliverables.
* Mentor and support junior professionals, including apprentices and graduates.
About you
To succeed, you should have:
* Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer or similar role, with a record of delivering complex projects.
* Experience with technical delivery processes and relevant software such as BIM, Revit, Electrical OM, Dialux, and Relux.
* Experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a consulting role.
* Self-awareness, openness, and a generous spirit.
* Experience supporting others development.
