Job Description
*Supporting Dairy Queen Locations: Greenville, NC; Rocky Mount, NC; Williamston, NC; Winterville, NC; Burlington, NC; and Asheboro, NC
Position Summary: Execute all aspects of building grounds and equipment maintenance and repairs using standards set by Fourteen Foods and Dairy Queen International. Travel to various assigned locations, some overnight travel will be necessary. Candidates should reside within 20 miles of the listed locations, but are not required to live exactly in those cities.
Essential Functions:
1. Maintain a high level of excellence in the overall appearance of all facilities.
2. Show pride in your job, company, and brand in all your work.
3. Exemplify the Fourteen Foods values and uphold them.
4. Make regular visits to assigned locations to perform general repair and maintenance of all equipment, the building, and the grounds surrounding the building.
5. Attend training classes and seminars as needed for self-growth and learning proper maintenance procedures on equipment.
6. Assist with remodels and special projects as needed.
7. Perform cleaning duties after completing work on equipment, building, and grounds.
8. Work on scaffolding, ladders, and with powered and non-powered handheld tools, saws, etc.
9. Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently.
10. Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or parts of building structures.
11. Provide groundskeeping services, such as landscaping and snow removal.
12. Repair and maintain restaurant equipment to keep it in working order.
13. Knowledge of refrigeration is a plus but not required.
Additional Responsibilities:
1. Good verbal and written communication skills.
2. Follow all D.O.T regulations as required.
3. Follow all OSHA rules and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
4. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. Previous general maintenance experience.
2. Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction or repair of restaurants and structures.
3. Knowledge of machines and tools, including design, use, repair, and maintenance.
4. Must have and maintain a clean driving record.
5. Average math skills.
6. A positive attitude with effective leadership qualities.
