NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
Position Details:
* Hours: 22.2 hours per week
* Shift pattern: 8:30am - 4:30pm for 3 days over 7
* This is a fixed-term post: 12 months
This new fixed-term role is vital for delivering the Community Pharmacy Nutrition Service (CPNS), which involves supplying and monitoring patients on Oral Nutritional Supplements (ONS) through Community Pharmacy. The role includes visiting Community Pharmacies across Greater Glasgow and Clyde to advise and support pharmacy teams in launching and maintaining this service.
Essential requirements include previous experience working with the public and strong attention to detail. Knowledge of Community Pharmacy is desirable.
