If so, look no further than our Early Years Nursery Assistant role! Velox Education is working with several nurseries in the Basingstoke area who are seeking dedicated Nursery Assistants with a genuine passion for the EYFS.
What we're looking for
* A positive, caring, and energetic attitude
* EYFS Level 2 or 3 qualification or higher (essential for all nurseries)
* Genuine enthusiasm for Early Years learning and development
* Ability to monitor and record children's progress
* Understanding of safeguarding practices
* Strong interest in supporting children's growth and potential
Key responsibilities
* Providing 1:1 support or working with small groups of children
* Assisting the class teacher and supporting the whole class
* Building positive relationships with parents and carers
* Supervising children during activities, playtime, and lunch breaks
* Promoting positive behaviour and acting as a role model
* Motivating and encouraging children to reach their full potential
