Job Description
The Credit Control & Accounts Assistant role will initially be a temporary assignment and full time office based in Heywood. Reporting to the Finance Manager Key responsibilities will include:
3. Processing the receipts via cash, cheque, card methods onto the accounts system
4. Reconciling payments on the individual client ledger
5. Actioning credit notes and resolving disputes/enquiries
6. Trade counter cashing up at the end of each day
7. Weekly cash reconciliation ready for collection by a third party
8. Processing and reconciling of invoices and monthly statements
9. Collection of monthly debts via the telephone
10. Monitor potential bad debts and follow through with the company legal procedure using internal and external sources.
11. Evaluate and process new account requests
