We’re now looking for an exceptional Senior Sous Chef to lead this exciting restaurant into its next chapter. The Role of Senior Sous Chef: As Senior Sous Chef, you’ll be the right hand to our Head Chef — a driving force in the kitchen, a mentor to the team, and a guardian of standards. You’ll lead services, develop dishes, and ensure every plate that leaves the pass is exceptional. ️ What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Sous Chef: Leads and inspires the talented Gilpin Spice kitchen brigade. Supports development of innovative, flavour‑driven menus rooted in Asian cuisines. Takes ownership of daily kitchen operations, stock, GP, and compliance. Supports training, development, and mentoring of chefs at all levels. Collaborates with the Head Chef and senior leadership on strategy, guest experience, and brand evolution. Delivers high‑energy services in our open kitchen, engaging with guests and showcasing the theatre of Spice Upholds Gilpin’s values of warmth, excellence, and genuine hospitality.
