Associate Director – AI Solutions & Automation
📍 London (hybrid with occasional international travel)
We’re looking for an experienced Associate Director, AI Solutions & Automation to play a key leadership role in shaping and delivering enterprise AI initiatives within a fast-growing technology consultancy environment.
This is a strategic and technical leadership position, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive the adoption of AI-driven IT operations, automation and intelligent service platforms across complex enterprise environments.
You will act as the right hand to the AI Solutions Director, helping define strategy, lead solution design, and guide delivery teams building cutting edge AI and automation capabilities for large scale organisations.
The role
* Provide thought leadership around AI enabled IT Operations (AIOps), automation and intelligent service management
* Lead the design and delivery of enterprise AI solutions across ITSM, ITOM and operational platforms
* Drive adoption of Agentic AI, orchestration and automation frameworks
* Partner with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI led solutions
* Oversee the integration of conversational AI and automation platforms
* Guide infrastructure modernisation to support AI workloads and automation pipelines
* Manage and mentor a small high performing solutions team
* Work closely with strategic technology partners and vendors
What we’re looking for
This role would suit someone who has developed their career in high performing consulting or advisory environments and is comfortable operating with senior client stakeholders in complex enterprise settings.
You will likely bring:
* Extensive experience in AI, automation and intelligent IT operations
* A strong background in solution architecture and enterprise technology strategy
* Experience delivering large scale transformation programmes within regulated or complex organisations
* Strong knowledge of ITSM / ITOM frameworks and ITIL aligned environments
* Expertise across automation, orchestration and event driven systems
* Proven ability to lead teams, influence stakeholders and shape technology strategy
* Experience working across financial services or other large enterprise sectors would be highly beneficial.
Tech environment
You’ll be working with technologies such as:
* Workflow orchestration tools including Airflow, Argo and Prefect
* Automation platforms such as Ansible, Salt and Puppet
* Messaging and event platforms such as Kafka and RabbitMQ
