A well:established membership organisation that aims to share its passion for enjoying the great outdoors by providing an unrivalled choice of quality places to stay, at locations world:wide is looking for a Cleaner to provide a first:class service and create a safe, relaxed and enjoyable holiday environment for all visitors by ensuring the cleanliness of the glamping accommodation and other site facilities at all times.
You will be working 25 hours per week and will receive a salary of GBP 13.00 per hour. Flexibility regarding hours is vital. The rota will require some weekend working and days of work may need to flex (with notice) depending on booking.
As Cleaner, you will:
: Ensure the glamping accommodation on site is maintained to a high level of cleanliness and appearance to comply with standards (as instructed by your Site Manager);
: Check and prepare an inventory for all units, to maintain levels of inventory in units and stores;
: Check beds, linen, pillows and duvets on each intake, monitoring to ensure stock is repaired/replaced as required, and making necessary laundering arrangements;
: Clean and sanitise toilets/showers/countertops/sinks, sweep/vacuum and mop hard floors, dust and polish furniture and fixtures, and clean/wash mirrors and other glass surfaces;
: Check and prepare welcome boxes for all visitors,' ensuring stock is replaced as required;
Prepare and maintain a weekly report of problems, issues and maintenance requirements and to discuss with the Site Manager; : Work within the Health and Safety guidelines to maintain and monitor a safe and secure environment for the welfare of visitors and staff, including carrying out all necessary safety checks (e.g. smoke detectors, legionella testing, fire extinguishers etc);
: Maintain other public areas to the required standards when necessary, including shower facilities, dishwashing areas, and laundry and refuse facilities;
: Maintain an effective and friendly working relationship with colleagues to promote a constructive working environment.
: Ensure keys are properly safeguarded and always accounted for;
: Generally assisting on site, when necessary, as instructed by your Site Manager, including cleaning the main toilet block.
We're looking for a Cleaner with:
: Previous experience in a housekeeping/cleaning role is required;
: Previous experience in the leisure industry would be an advantage, but not essential.
: Potential to develop into a Team Leader role in the future therefore previous team leader experience is preferred but not essential;
: Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods;
: Excellent customer service skills;
: Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment.
