Job Title: Cover Supervisor (CS) Location: Worksop (S81) Pay rate: £450-£650 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate/January 2026 start Contract type -Supply Cover Are you someone who can confidently manage a classroom and ensure students remain engaged during lessons? GSL Education are providing an opportunity for a reliable Cover Supervisor to oversee classes in Worksop (S81), helping learners stay focused, complete tasks, and maintain positive behaviour in the absence of teaching staff. As a Cover Supervisor (CS), you will follow pre-prepared lesson plans, manage classroom routines, and encourage students to engage with the work set, ensuring a productive learning environment throughout the day. Core Responsibilities: Supervise classes during teacher absence, following provided lesson materials. Maintain order and positive behaviour in the classroom. Support learners in completing tasks and staying engaged. Report on student behaviour and progress to teaching staff. Ensure safety and wellbeing of all students throughout the day. Requirements of Cover Supervisor: Experience working with children or young people in an educational or similar setting. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Calm, adaptable, and confident in varied situations. Professional approach to safeguarding and student welfare. An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
