The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the Accounts Department, ensuring accuracy throughout the Nominal Ledger. This is a great role for a Part Qualified or Assistant Accountant, looking to take the next step in their career. The main duties: Preparation of monthly accounts Reconcile nominal ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable Managing the processing of invoices Reconcile monthly and quarterly VAT Returns Prepare & Post Journals to ensure accurate reporting Prepayments and accruals Update Fixed Asset Register Assist Finance Department with Budgeting and Forecast activities Supervise and review workload of transactional staff The main requirements: Experience of month end processes Highly analytical with strong problem solving skills Excellent communication skills Proficient in Excel High levels of attention to detail Able to work on own initiative Strong work ethic My client offers an attractive salary, depending on experience and benefits package for the successful candidate.
