Role
This is a sales and relationship-driven role with prioritising customer satisfaction at its core. As you will be working with existing clients there is no cold calling. You will be:
* The main point of contact for 100-200 local business customers across hotels, restaurants, cafes, care homes, soft play centres - essentially anywhere selling food!
* Working with your business manager on sales strategies to increase the basket spend of each customer
* Dealing with inbound sales orders from customers over the phone and online
* Looking to cross-sell, up-sell, and introduce new products to your customers on an ongoing basis
* Targeted on monthly cash and items sales
* Working Monday to Friday in the office 8.45 am until 4.45 pm
* Able to progress your career in the longer term. Options are endless due to the size of the business with most common pathways into field sales, management and operations
The training for this role will be tailored to your needs and learning styles. Included will be training on thousands of product lines, different ordering systems and call shadowing. There are online training courses in multiple modules such as self-development, sales, customer services, negotiation, listening and account management. Plenty of support will be provided by an assigned buddy, the business manager and the head of depot sales.

Profile
* Driving license and access to a vehicle. On-site parking is available
* Location is important: you will need to live within a reasonable commute to Paisley to the west of Glasgow.
