Job Overview
We are looking for a permanent Customer Service Advisor to join our team in Newtownards. The role involves delivering proactive and reactive service, helping customers to meet their financial arrangements and goals.
Location & Working Hours
Location: Natwest, Newtownards.
Working pattern: Full time – 40 hours per week, hours between 08:00 and 18:00.
Hybrid: two days a week in office.
Salary
Annual salary up to £27,976 (monthly pay).
Probity Requirements
Credit, Criminal, Sanctions and Fraud checks will be completed. Candidates must provide physical documentation evidence of last 2 years of employment history and last 5 years of address history.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding customer service as the first point of contact and help the organisation to achieve its goals.
* Educate customers on the different ways they can conduct banking and support them in choosing the right service options for their needs.
* Accurately and compliantly complete processes and procedures, providing customers with a seamless and positive experience.
* Take correct actions to deliver good customer outcomes, regularly reviewing and mitigating gaps to ensure satisfaction.
What You'll Do
* Conduct financial reviews with customers, providing accurate information to help them make informed decisions.
* Manage diary and balance proactive conversations with planned customer meetings.
* Support the bank’s way of working to help as many customers as possible.
* Maintain relationships with colleagues to support customers and uphold wider business aims.
* Resolve complaints and errors quickly, restoring the customer relationship.
* Ensure each interaction leaves the customer satisfied that their needs have been met.
Required Skills & Experience
* Experience working in a customer service environment and managing customer relationships.
* Excellent organisational and time‑management skills to meet performance measures.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Background of working within a regulatory environment.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and technology.
* Customer‑focused attitude.
