JSS Tax are hiring for an Interim Head of Tax for an well known UK brand based in Hertfordshire.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract paying circa £100k-£125k plus benefits package.
The Head of Tax will form part of the finance leadership team and will take ownership of all direct and indirect tax issues that affect the business.
Managing a small team, the Head of Tax will take the lead on tax strategy & planning, will provide commercial tax advice to the business, and will engage in a variety of tax project and risk management work, as well as having ultimate ownership of tax compliance obligations.
The company are looking for an experienced tax leader with strong UK tax credentials, a commercial mindset and strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Experience of working in a PE-backed environment would be beneficial but is not mandatory.
This person will need to be immediately available or available at short notice, and happy to work on a hybrid basis from the company's Hertfordshire offices.
