Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Assistant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of the organisation, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions. Duties
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
* Process transactions and manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Support the monthly reconciliation of bank statements and other financial accounts.
* Collaborate with team members to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
* Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial matters.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts as required.
* Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
Skills
* Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software.
* Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with colleagues and clients.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
