Where will you be working?

You’ll be joining our Highways maintenance team, as the UK’s leading highway maintenance contractor, utilizing the latest innovations to create effective solutions. Our services include planned and reactive maintenance and highway improvement schemes.
What will you be doing?
* Advising, guiding, and coaching all personnel on the implementation of the company System (MIMS)
* Ensuring contract/project compliance with MIMS and statutory provisions
* Providing guidance on the competency requirements in line with MIMS
* Advising on the production, implementation, and review of HSW plans
* Reporting all incidents in line with the incident investigation procedure on MIMS, escalating significant incidents immediately
* Conducting incident investigations and identifying preventative measures, including lessons learned
* Performing HSW audits and inspections as per schedule, recording findings/actions on Procore
* Participating in the development, review, update, and rollout of HSW processes and procedures within MIMS
* Supporting the business with work winning activities when requested
What You’ll Bring
* Previous experience in health and safety
* Minimum NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
* Technician or Graduate membership of IOSH
* Desirable: working towards chartered membership of IOSH
* NEBOSH Diploma / NEBOSH National Certificate in the Management of Health and Well-being at Work
* MSc / PGD in Occupational Health & Safety Management or equivalent
