Project and compliance accountant reporting to the UK finance director. The main purpose of this role is to drive process improvements to ensure best practice and efficiencies in the delivery of finance activity. This individual will have a passion to challenge with a proactive approach to seek out opportunity to achieve greater efficiency and transparency of data. The role requires that KPIs be achieved and the individual to be able to work in a fast paced environment.
Keys Activities:
Ensure compliance with UK and IFRS accounting standards
Ensure compliance with EA and HMRC
Support global standardisation and harmonisation within GBS
Contribute to solution management
Cross departmental working by creating strong relationships
Seek best practices from other Husqvarna locations
Monitor, track and report implementation plans and progress in pursuit of GBS goals
Challenge the management team and organization to improve
Key Interfaces:
UK and global finance teams
Change agents
VP Internal Control
Country Officers
Change management
What We’re Looking for
Proficiency in the use of JD Edwards (or similar ERP), and Excel
Experience of Group Reporting systems uploads/ interfaces
Relevant experience to support the responsibilities of the role
Excellent communication skills, a professional manner and well working as part of the team
High attention to detail and organizational skills
Can-do attitude and ability to prioritise and work under time pressure
Understanding of data privacy standards
