We’re looking for a proactive and confident SHEQ Manager to drive safety, health, environmental, and quality excellence across our projects. In this role, you’ll promote best practice across multiple sites, supporting and coaching teams to work safely and effectively.
This role primarily covers sites across the North West, with occasional travel further afield.
Key Responsibilities
* 👷♂️ Conduct and report on site inspections, audits and safety observation reports
* 👷♂️ Identify risks and drive safe behaviours on site
* 👷♂️ Support RAMS reviews and ensure compliance
* 👷♂️ Deliver inductions and toolbox talks
* 👷♂️ Collaborate with supply chain partners to uphold SHEQ standards
* 👷♂️ Contribute to continuous improvement and a proactive safety culture
* 👷♂️ Supporting compliance with accreditations such as ISO9001, Constructionline and SMAS
Ideal Candidates
* 👷♀️ Good understanding of current UK health and safety legislation, including CDM Regulations
* 👷♀️ Experience in a similar role within the construction industry
* 👷♀️ Organised, confident and assertive, with the ability to influence and engage effectively with teams at all levels
* 👷♀️ Experience with Chime Construction Software
